Royal Challengers Bangalore Vs Kolkata Knight Riders: 05 April 2019 IPL Match Prediction

A Royal challenge for the Knights!

The 17th match of this year’s IPL will see the Royal Challengers Bangalore take on the Knights of Kolkata. A desperate RCB is still looking to salvage their first three points of the tournament. The Knights on the other hand are in a good position as a win will take them to the top of the table. Playing at the Chinnaswamy stadium, RCB will look to take advantage of the home ground and win to make their chances for the playoffs still alive. So, join us for the latest team news, starting XIs, key players, and of course our prediction.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

The misfortunes for the Bangalore side do not seem to stop. RCB succumbed to their fourth defeat of the tournament against Rajasthan. At present, nothing seems to be going in the right direction for Virat Kohli and co. With collapses in the batting unit and inability to defend scores, Bangalore faces a herculean task of making it to the playoffs. Kohli has been unable to reproduce his magic with the bat this season, so has de Villiers. The only fight shown in the batting unit has been in the form of the diminutive Parthiv Patel. Highly regarded Hetmyer once again failed to contribute with the bat. Stoinis, who was given his debut match against RR, looked to be in a better position than most of the current team players. RCB have yet to decide on their first team and more changes might be in order for this one also.

The lone star in the RCB line up has been the leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. With 8 scalps to his name, Chahal will have a difficult job against the big man Andre Russell. KKR have a destructive batting unit, all capable to clear the grounds. Yadav on the other hand has been inconsistent and was smacked badly in the last match. The management will have to choose a team accordingly, as the pitch is known to favour the batsmen.

Predicted XI

Virat Kohli, Parthiv Patel, AB de Villiers, Yuzvendra Chahal, Moeen Ali, Marcus Stoinis, Mohammed Siraj, Shimron Hetmyer, Navdeep Saini, Akshdeep Nath, Washington Sundar.

Kolkata Knight Riders

The Knights got off on a promising start with two wins against heavyweights Punjab and Hyderabad. They recently suffered their first loss against Delhi in a thrilling super over match. A win against a struggling RCB will propel Knight Riders to the top of the table. KKR have an explosive batting order, starting from the openers all the way down to number seven. Sunil Narine will be back in the squad and is most likely to open the innings with Chris Morris. Robin Uthappa and Dinesh Karthik will also be on the lookout to score. But the biggest threat to the RCB bowling line up will be Andre Russell. The West Indian has been on fire and let’s his sixes do the talking. The small ground at Chinnaswamy is sure to get the Russell treatment unless Bangalore takes him out early.

The bowling unit for KKR will cause a bit concern for captain Karthik. They still lack the discipline to lock out in the final stages of the match. Lockie Ferguson and Piyush Chawla will be the key members in the bowling attack. Narine will also need to reproduce his old magic. Home boy Prasidh Krishna will have to step up along with Kuldeep Yadav.

Predicted Playing XI

Sunil Narine, Chris Lynn, Robin Uthappa, Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik, Shubhman Gill, Andre Russell, Piyush Chawla, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Lockie Ferguson.

PredictX today’s Match Prediction: Who’ll Win today?

The small ground and a batting pitch are sure to benefit the side batting first. The big hitters of KKR and RCB will need to make full use of the conditions. Expect a thrilling match down to the last ball, with KKR going to the top. In short, KKR is favorites to win today’s match!

[IPl 2018 Qualifier 2] SRH Vs KKR Match Prediction, Analysis, Playing 11, Betting Tips and more. Who Will Win today?

The exciting season of IPL 2018 is almost at an end. We are just one step away from the big finale. The second qualifiers will decide who will face off against Chennai Super Kings for the title. The two teams in the second round are none other than SRH and KKR at Eden Gardens on 25 May. While KKR continues their hot winning form, SRH’s poor showing in recent weeks has left them vulnerable. A last minute wins to enter the top four and a strong outing in the first qualifier against RR has put KKR in the prime position against a weakened SRH. Let’s check today’s match preview, playing 11, pre-match analysis and prediction which will tell you which team has more chances of winning this Qualifier 2 match.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

The consistent team of the tournament had to endure a terrible time towards the end of the IPL 11 season. SRH have faltered and are on four matches losing streak. The team which was very well piped to win the trophy this year have a tough opposition in front of them. A poor middle order collapse has seen SRH lose out on matches.

Betting Line-up

The lack of form of the batsman to support the shaky middle order has hurt Sunrisers Hyderabad. Dhawan will look to return to his best after failing to score even a single run against CSK in the last match. Captain Kane Williamson and the coaches need to shore the batting line up to score big and actually give the bowling a chance to defend.

The middle order, Manish Pandey, Shakib Al Hasan and Yusuf Pathan need to get their heads back in the game to boost the batting. These players will be extremely vital against KKR. Apart from a scoring Kane Williamson, who leads the orange cap with 685 runs, the other batsmen need to up their game to stop a rampaging KKR. The inclusion of Carlos Braithwaite in the last match helped SRH propel to a decent score, as the big man scored 43 off 29 balls.

sunrisers-hyderabad-match-prediction-ipl-2018-playoff-qualifier-2

Bowling

Undoubtedly the best bowling side of IPL 2018 has seen their lows in the recent matches. Although the line-up of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Siddharth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma and Rashid Khan has paid the dividends, the leaking of runs has been a negative point. Braithwaite was brilliant with the bat, leaked valuable runs in the last match which allowed CSK to gain control. Bhuvi, Kaul, and Sandeep will need to restrict a daring batting line-up of KKR. Rashid Khan will be key for the bowling and on a turning Eden pitch.

Key Players to Watch

The bowling as always will be the key to SRH’s victory. The batting will also have to perform well in the match. Kane Williamson and Rashid Khan will play vital roles.

Predicted Playing XI

Kane Williamson, Shikhar Dhawan, Sreevants Goswami, Manish Pandey, Carlos Braithwaite, Shakib Al Hasan, Yusuf Pathan, Rashid Khan, Trent Boult, Siddarth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma.

Kolkata Knight Riders

The Kolkata Knight Riders are in a red-hot form and are steamrolling anyone in their path. Although they still have a few chinks in their armor, the entire team is functioning cohesively. The opening pair of Sunil Narine and Chris Lynn will again be vital for KKR. Although Narine had a disappointing game against RR, the spinner turned batsman will be looking to put forth a strong opening against a disciplined SRH bowling. Captain Dinesh Karthik will be the one to look out for as he has been the consistent performer in the KKR side. The youngsters Nitish Rana and Shubman Gill will also need to do the needful to score valuable runs. Andre Russell will be looking to explore his big hitting side against SRH at KKR’s home stadium.

Bowling

KKR put in an impressive bowling display to restrict RR in the last match. The bowlers of KKR, Andre Russell, youngster Prasidh Krishna, Kuldeep Yadav and Piyush Chawla will have to exploit a struggling SRH batting order to restrict them. Sunil Narine will need to focus on his bowling also to make full use of the home pitch.

Key Players to Watch Out

Dinesh Karthik will be crucial against SRH and the likes of Chawla and Kuldeep Yadav will prove important to the bowling.

Predicted Playing XI

Sunil Narine, Chris Lynn, Robin Uthappa, Dinesh Karthik, Nitish Rana, Andre Russell, Piyush Chawla, Shubman Gill, Kuldeep Yadav, Jason Searles, Prasidh Krishna.

IPL 2018 Eliminator 1 Playoffs 23 May: KKR Vs RR Match Prediction, Playing 11, News, Pre-Match Analysis and

The Eliminator of IPL 2018 is here, now the turn of Kolkata Knights Vs Rajasthan Royals at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on 23th May. Who will see the door and who will move to Qualifier 1 to face Sunrisers Hyderabad for a spot in the final against CSK. All that alongside predicted playing XI, team news, pre-match analysis, team news and match predictions.

Kolkata Knight Riders

Playing an eliminator at the Eden Gardens would have been KKR’s dream and they have finally got it and will face RR. KKR has been on the rise since their sudden blip mid-tournament, and will look to carry forward the momentum. The pitch and the toss will be a deciding factor as RR isn’t known to be a team to chase down big totals, and given KKR negates Sodhi and Shreyas Gopal and post anything around 160-170 it will get hard for RR even with the dew settling in.

rr-vs-kkr-match-prediction-23-may

Betting Line-up

Uthappa has got into the act at last but there needs to be more from him. Dinesh Karthik is playing those unnoticeable, yet vital knocks and Chris Lynn has finally grown into the Indian conditions. Narine would be a trump card. Shubhman Gill has been off the boil a bit but Andre Dwayne Russell has settled into his rhythm yet again.

Bowling Line-up

The bowling needs to fire, and they have been really good in the death overs especially Prasidh Krishna who scalped 4 wickets against RR a week ago. Piyush Chawla has been economical, but Kuldeep Yadav is spinning a web around the batters and it is a pretty sight. Javon Searles may not feature in this match and KKR may go with veteran Johnson for this.

Key Players to watch

The key will be Narine and Lynn at the start and DK and Russ at the end. The bowling department will be headed by Narine and Kuldeep Yadav. The 4 overs from Krishna will also be decisive.

Predicted Playing XI

Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine, Robin Uthappa, Dinesh Karthik, Nitish Rana, Andre Russell, Shubhman Gill, Piyush Chawla, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Mitchell Johnson

Rajasthan Royals

RR has ridden their luck on to their way to the playoffs, and Buttler’s heroics followed with Gopal and Sodhi show against RCB has exposed one dreadful fact that they rely on individual brilliance. Against a resurgent KKR side in front of a roaring Kolkata crowd, RR will have their task cut out from ball one. Ajinkya Rahane is getting into the captaincy groove, but needs to win the toss and post a big score, else chasing would be a tough ask. The inclusion of Klassen would be a turning point with the South African scoring a quickfire 32 and was excellent behind the stumps.

rr-vs-kkr-match-prediction-23-may-qualifier

Betting Line-up

Jinx and Tripathi will hold the key, but RR could use Gowtham at the top instead of Archer as he is a trusted deputy and has been in excellent form with the bat. Sanju Samson has been peripheral since mid-May and needs to get into the thick of things because it gets too late.

Bowling Line-up

Shreyas Gopal and Ish Sodhi will relish bowling on the Eden Gardens wicket, and both will carry their team and decide the game in their 8 overs. Unadkat has been disappointing, but Jinx and Warne’s faith in him may come back to haunt them. Kulkarni is an option on the bench as well. Archer has been leaking runs and has shown his inexperience.

Key Players to watch

The key player would be Klassen and Tripathi with the bat. However, their strength lies with Sodhi and Shreyas Gopal.

Predicted Playing XI

Heinrich Klassen, Rahul Tripathi, Ajinkya Rahane, Sanju Samson, Stuart Binny, Krishnappa Gowtham, Anureet Singh, Ish Sodhi, Jofra Archer, Dhawal Kulkarni/Jaydev Unadkat, Ben Laughlin

Match Prediction: Who Will Win KKR Vs RR 23 May Match?

The game will be decided on the toss winner, but given the home conditions and RR’s reliance on individual brilliance will give KKR a significant edge. According to our match analysis, KKR is favorites to win this match because first,  Kolkata will be having their home advantage at Eden Gardens. Second, KKR has also won their last two matches against RR this season at Eden Gardens including a big six-wicket win. Another factor behind KKR’s more chance of winning this eliminator match is, Rajasthan Royals will be playing without scoring batter Jos Butler and all-rounder Ben Stokes as they’ve been called by England for the test match against Pakistan. We think this will impact the Royals game a lot.

Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad, the men from South of India to fight it out to reach the finals while resurgent Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders are to fight their way to qualifier 2. CSK and SRH will lock horns at the Wankhede, and let us get our betting game right.
We’ve put the chances of winning after the team analysis, it will keep on increasing as match ending. We’ll keep updating this article daily.

IPL Points Table 2018

IPL 2018 Points Table
IPL Points Table 2018. Updated: 22nd May Before Qualifier 1 Match.

Chennai Super Kings

CSK is yet again in another semi-final, and they are one of the best teams in the history of IPL. After defeating KXIP in their last match and in the process knocked them out of the tournament, CSK level with SRH on 18 points on the IPL Points Table, but the SRH has a better NRR (Net Run Rate). Nevertheless, both the team will face each other the first Qualifier to be played at the Wankhede on 22nd May, giving a second bite at the cherry, but undoubtedly CSK and SRH will look to win the match and seal the final spot without any jitters.

Chances of winning: 35%

Sunrisers Hyderabad

The best-balanced team of IPL 2018 so far. We know this is a huge call, but they have shown maximum results without having the biggest T20 stars. Kane Williamson has been a phenomenon in both the bat and his leadership abilities. He has formed an impregnable bowling attack that does not rely on Bhuvaneshwar or Rashid alone, but the team. They are the best bowling side, and their ability to chase huge targets are praiseworthy. They are within touching distance and could win their 2nd title of IPL tournament. However, their bowling attack has recently been taken to the cleaners with Siddharth Kaul leaking too many runs, and SRH’s wicket-taking bowlers are finding it difficult to penetrate. Against a strong CSK batting line-up, SRH will be looking to restrict them and chase on a slow yet batting friendly Wankhede. SRH lost to CSK by 9 wickets in the last match, so that will also play on their minds before the toss.

Chances of winning: 35%

Kolkata Knight Riders

KKR will seal their playoff spot if they defeat SRH, but there is a huge if and given they lose their last match, and RCB or MI win theirs, KKR will then sit anxiously and wait for the NRR to rule in their favor. KKR won comprehensively against SRH and made sure they did not have to rely on NRR to qualify. KKR bowlers are again at it as they are grouping together and chipping in with wickets regularly. Prasidh Krishna is looking to be their answer to death over woes, and Chris Lynn is finally showing why he is considered as one of the best T20 batters around the World. They will face a resurgent RR side at the Eden Gardens where spin will be a decisive option as both sets have quality spinners up their ranks.

Chances of winning: 15%

Rajasthan Royals

With Steve Smith out because of the SandPaper Gate, Rahane was thrust upon with the duties, and he has been unpredictable since then. His batting has taken a blow, and few of his decisions are baffling as well. Rajasthan Royals surprised everybody after defeating RCB and will now take on KKR who have been on the up, but there are a few jitters among the KKR fans as well. It will be an even contest and the form of Ish Sodhi and Shreyas Gopal will play an immense factor at the Eden Gardens, and Rahane has finally proved his leadership qualities, and much will depend on his usage of bowlers.

Chances: 15%

[19 May, 54th IPL Match 2018] SRH Vs KKR Match Prediction, Pre-Match Analysis, Playing 11 and Betting Tips.

[19 May, 54th IPL Match 2018] SRH Vs KKR Match Prediction, Pre-Match Analysis, Playing 11 and Betting Tips.

The 54th match of Vivo IPL 2018 is another do or die stuff, but this time it will be the Knights of Shah Rukh Khan who will look to win and secure the third place and keep the mathematical side of IPL away from them. SRH will surely finish second if not first and has been the most entertaining side in this year’s IPL. Stay with us for the latest team news, starting XIs, pre-match analysis and of course the match prediction.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

match_ipl_2018_sunrisers_hyderabad_vs_kolkata-knight-riders

The huge ground of Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad assures low scoring thrillers and the slowness of the pitch will see batsmen grind out runs rather than have a walk in the park. SRH has shown they are more than capable of chasing down huge totals, and their defending skills are next to none. Even when they lost to RCB the other night they were excellent throughout the chase until Williamson fell. The Kiwi skipper has been a revelation and people who say T20s are for power-packed players; think again. Dhawan has been in terrific form as well while Hales has looked good. SRH can look into their bench and give the young lads a go given they have secured one of the top two spots. Ricky Bhui and Tanmay Agarwal come at the back of excellent domestic season while foreigners like Jordan and Mehedi Hasan could also get a look in. Rashid Khan is an absolute delight, and KW may want to preserve him for the crucial matches ahead of them.

Bowling Line-up

sunrisers-hyderabad-match-prediction-ipl-2018

Bhuvi may not play this match as well, and the way Thampi was thumped out of the park(sorry for the pun) it looks like KW will be looking for other seam options. However, Williamson is an excellent motivator and he may well give the young lad another bite at the cherry. Manish Pandey is finally getting into his rhythm so he will definitely play.

The key players for SRH have always been Williamson and Shikhar Dhawan. With the ball, there are few players better than Rashid Khan at the moment.

Playing 11 Vs KKR

Shikhar Dhawan/Ricky Bhui, Alex Hales, Kane Williamson, Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda/Tanmay Agarwal, Shreevats Goswami, Rashid Khan/Mohammad Nabi/ Carlos Brathwaite, Siddharth Kaul/K Khaleel Ahmed, Sandeep Sharma, Basil Thampi, Chris Jordan.

Kolkata Knight Riders

KKR is 3rd on the Vivo IPL 2018 points table with 14 points but have a negative NRR (Net Run Rate), so losing this match will see them wait anxiously for MI, KXIP, and RCB results. Given MI and RCB both win their matches and KKR loses this one, it will be MI and RCB sealing the last two spots in the playoffs. Therefore, it is a no holds barred match for the Knights and they will bank on their resurgence.

Bowling Line-up

Dinesh Karthik will have a lot to ponder upon, but there should not be any changes given the way KKR bowlers have performed and Chris Lynn finally paying dividends. Shivam Mavi has shown his character during the RR match where he gave away 19 in his 1st overs but then finished with 1/33 in his 4. Prasidh Krishna is growing as well. Russell is DK’s go-to man when he needs wicket with Narine blowing hot and cold with the ball, but the Windies spinner is certainly making up for it with his exorbitant batting displays.

rh-vs-kkr-match-prediction

Batting Line-up

DK has been off the boil a little, and so has been Dre Russ, and the slow wicket of Hyderabad will not aid their cause. Nitish Rana has remained peripheral since his recovery and will look to get into the act. Kuldeep Yadav was extraordinary against RR and will be taking the charge with Chawla still recovering.

The key players for KKR would be Narine and Lynn with the bat, and Dre Russ and Kuldeep in the death overs. The bowling section will see Kuldeep Yadav spinning webs around the batsmen with Chawla out for today’s game.

Playing 11 Vs SRH

Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine, Robin Uthappa, Shubhman Gill, Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik, Andre Russell, Kuldeep Yadav, Javon Searles/Mitch Johnson, Shivam Mavi, Prasidh Krishna.

Match Prediction: Who Will Win today?

KKR will be looking to neutralize the SRH bowlers till the 12th over with smart batting, and then go after them to ensure no dramatic middle order collapse. SRH will be looking to chase this game and bolster their batting order. KKR needs to win desperately and will give their everything in it, but SRH hasn’t been complacent either. Therefore, a 50-50 match on the cards. However, if you ask us personally SRH is favorites to win this one because first, they’ve got the home advantage, they’ve won 5 out of 6 matches this IPL.
