India Vs New Zealand ODI 2019: Ist Match Prediction & Analysis

After winning the series against Australia, India seeks out New Zealand next. Virat Kohli and co. begins their New Zealand tour with a 5 match ODI series, the first of which will be held at McLean Park. India is on a high roll after a gruelling ODI, test and T20 series win, while the hosts are also coming off a series win against Sri Lanka. This is yet another uphill battle for India as they take on a really good Kiwi team. India will also look to avenge their disastrous 2014 series loss in New Zealand. It could be another history in the making, if India manages to win a series in New Zealand. So, join us for the latest team news, starting XIs, key players, and of course our prediction.

New Zealand

Much like India, the Black Caps are on a scintillating form of late. The Kiwis have never looked this good before. Riding on the back of a series win against Sri Lanka, New Zealand will be looking to put a stop to India’s dominant run. Led by the dynamic Kane Williamson, the team is one of the leading contenders for this year’s World Cup. The team will be sure to take full home advantage and make use of the short boundaries and flat pitches. These conditions make it ideal for the batting duo of Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson to notch up quick runs. Not to forget the scoring machine, that is, Ross Taylor is in red hot form and he would love to hit the bowlers all around the park. With Colin Munro slowly finding his form again, the Indian bowlers have a tough task ahead of them.

Bowling Line-up

The bowling unit is well balanced with devastating pacers capable of blowing wickets as well as spinners capable of troubling the best hitters. The threat of Trent Boult and Tim Southee disrupting the openers is always ever present. India will also have to be wary of Lockie Ferguson, who was in top form against Sri Lanka. With his devastating pace, Ferguson will surely be hunting for wickets.

Betting Line-up

Much like Kohli, New Zealand will look up to Captain Kane Williamson to lead them with the bat along with Guptill and Ross Taylor. The bowling attack will be led by Boult, Southee and Ferguson.

Predicted Playing XI

Kane Williamson, Martin Guptill, Ross Taylor, Colin Munro, Colin de Grandhomme, Trent Boult, Tim Southee, Lockie Ferguson, Mitchell Santer, Doug Bracewell, Matt Henry.

India

India has been in an exemplary form in the past year. The confidence is high after a historic win in Australia and the team will be looking to continue the form in New Zealand. With one eye open for revenge also for the 2014 whitewash, India is the team to watch out for. It comes of no surprise that, Virat Kohli is the man to watch out for. The captain is hands down, the best batsman in the world right now. Kohli will be looking forward to shattering a few more records in this series. Hit man Rohit Sharma, one of the most consistent performers for India in 50 overs and Shikhar Dhawan will be looking to add runs with the bat. Former captain MS Dhoni will look to silence his critics once more. India have quite a lot of depth in their batting line up, so chasing down 300+ scores should not be a problem for the team.

Bowling Line-up

The absence of Jasprit Bumrah has been handled well by the duo of Mohammed Shami and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. In place of the suspended Hardik Pandya, India has called upon Vijay Shankar and Ravindra Jadeja to fill up the all rounder duties. The spin combination of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav has reaped fruits for India.

Betting Line-up

The monstrous batting line up of Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Dhawan and Dhoni can score as well as chase down any score. The visitors will look to restrict the hosts using the pace of Bhuvi and Shami and the spin of Chahal and Kuldeep.

Predicted Playing XI

Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, MS Dhoni, Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Dinesh Karthik, Kuldeep Yadav.

Ind Vs Aus 3rd Match Coverage 18th January 2019: Preview, Playing XI, & Match Prediction.

The thrilling second encounter between the two heavy-weights came to an exhilarating conclusion with India leveling the three-match series. With Kohli leading from the front with a century and Dhoni once again proving his critics wrong with an unbeaten 55, the final match ODI at Melbourne will be intense. This was a very dominant performance by India, after their dismal showing at Sydney. Both the batting and the bowling unit showed they were ready to bounce back and take home the series. So, join us for the latest team news, starting XIs, key players, and of course our match-analysis and prediction.

Australia

After opting to bat first again, Australia put up a defendable score of 298, largely thanks to a gaudy Shaun Marsh innings. The openers Alex Carey and Aaron Finch were faltered by the duo of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Mohamed Shami. Australia’s openers have been poor this series and this resulted in pressure in the middle orders. The most impressive with the bat though, has been Shaun Marsh, who once again put up a fine 131 in just 123 balls. The Aussies will once again look to their in-form Marsh to help steer the innings in Melbourne. Usman Khawaja and Peter Handscomb will also need to step up in the final match.

Betting & Bowling-line up

The inexperienced Aussie bowling line up was at the mercy of Indian batting at Adelaide. The same combination of Behrendorff and Richardson proved to be very costly this time around. This shows what a difference an experienced bowler like Strac could have made. Nathan Lyon and Peter Siddle are still ineffective. The coach would do well to field Zampa for the final match.

Shaun Marsh has been in excellent form and he will do damage with the bat if not checked early. The bowling will have to be helmed by Richardson and Behrendorff.

Predicted Playing XI

Alex Carey, Aaron Finch, Usman Khawaja, Shaun Marsh, Peter Handscomb, Marc Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell, Adam Zampa, Peter Siddle, Jhye Richardson, Jason Behrendorff.

India

The 299 run target might have been difficult to reach, had it not been for Virat Kohli. The skipper struck a magnificent 104 to help steer India to victory. Dhoni once again proved that age is just a number with his signature six at the end. India has perhaps the best chasing duo, the game has ever produced. Both Dhawan and Rohit Sharma started off well and the bowlers were having a hard time. Sharma in particular, was again on target but missed his half century. Kohli played an excellent innings to bring up his 39th ton and the match was later finished off by Dhoni with a splendid 55 not out. India would do well to continue on this form at Melbourne. With a nice batting surface at Melbourne, India might just have take away the series.

Bowling line-up

The Indian bowling did well to restrict Australia fewer than 300. The duo of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Mohamed Shami bagged seven wickets between them to disrupt the Aussie batting. Debutant Mohammed Siraj proved to be expensive in his first match. The main threat will be in the form of Shaun Marsh and the Indian pacers will have to keep the left hander in check early in the innings.

Betting line-up

Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni will be looking to chase down another total to bag the series. While, Bhuvi and Shami will look to keep the Aussies in check.

Predicted Playing XI

Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Amabati Rayudu, MS Dhoni, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed.

India Vs Australia 3rd ODI: Match Prediction: Who Will Win today’s match?

Australia

The Aussies are on a high roll after their first win against India at Sydney. With a decent batting show on a flat pitch, the Australian bowling line up did well to restrict the Indians. After losing the test series, Australia will be out for revenge in the ODI’s. The odds were pretty much against the Aussies in the first match and yet they managed to strife the Indian lineup. But still the team is pretty much inexperienced with some bowlers giving away cheap runs. The middle order held on their own with 50s from Usman Khawaja, Shaun Marsh and Peter Handscomb.

Batting

The opening partnership of Aaron Finch and Alex Carey will need to fire in the second match. We know, what happens when Finch gets going. The primary concern for the men down under will be their bowling lineup. With only Richardson and Behrendorff proving effective in the first match, Australia has a big task of stopping a prolific Indian batting lineup. With the off spin of Nathan Lyon proving futile, Australia might consider replacing him for Adam Zampa in the next match.

Players to watch

The key performers for this match would be Usman Khawaja and Peter Handscomb in the batting lineup, while India will be unsettled by the newcomers Richardson and Behrendorff.

AUS Predicted XI

Alex Carey, Aaron Finch, Usman Khawaja, Shaun Marsh, Peter Handscomb, Marc Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell, Adam Zampa, Peter Siddle, Jhye Richardson, Jason Behrendorff.

India

Ah! The mighty batting lineup came under fire in the very first match of the series. It was not as much as Australia’s bowling but India’s woeful batting that led to the downfall. With a better and experienced lineup, India faltered badly and ended up losing by 34 runs. The lone star in the poor performance was a flamboyant 133 run knock by Rohit Sharma. With Dhawan again failing to deliver again, the middle order fell like dominos. The in-form Virat Kohli was caught out cheaply and so was Rayudu. The biggest take away from the match though, was Dhoni’s slow performance. Although, the former captain hit a fifty, the knock came off 96 balls. The batting position of the former skipper has come under consideration with many contemplating whether he should come higher or lower. Shastri has a lot to think about, if he wants to level the series.

Bowling Line-up

India went with 5 bowlers on a flat track at Adelaide. The unit did well to restrict Australia under 300. The duo of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Kuldeep Yadav was effective against the Australian line up. Shami and Khaleel Ahmed, round off the bowling unit with Jadeja chipping in, with a few overs.

Betting Line-up

India will depend on its batting to power its way through the second match. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be looking to score with the bat. Bhuvi and Kuldeep will prove to be the bane in Australian’s batting line up.

India’s Predicted Playing XI

Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Amabati Rayudu, MS Dhoni, Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Shami, Kuldeep Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)

The orange army has come a long way. A slow start to the season turned into a dominating one as SRH kept on winning games. The team progressed rapidly under the excellent captaincy of Kane Williamson and poses a serious threat to CSK for the IPL 2018 title. An organized batting lineup led by Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson has withheld pressure from the opposition. SRH need Dhawan to be fully back in form to start off their innings well.

Betting Line-up

Skipper Williamson, who is the orange cap holder, will be looking to add to his tally of 688 runs. The middle order has been shaky in the batting line up. Bowling Line-up

The much prized SRH bowling attack will face their penultimate test against the Chennai batting. The best bowling unit of IPL 2018 led by the excellent Rashid Khan will need to restrict the mighty batting of CSK. Easily the best spin bowler of IPL 11, Rashid Khan is a sight for the eyes. The Afghan spinner’s heroics with the bat, ball and fielding the second qualifier against KKR helped SRH win the match. The spin wizard will get assistance from pacer Siddarth Kaul, who also has been in phenomenal form. The disciplined bowling unit will be the key to Sunrisers victory in the final.

Rashid Khan will be the biggest factor for SRH and the key component in the SRH team. The bowler is in unbelievable form and will look to continue doing so.

Predicted Playing XI

Kane Williamson, Shikhar Dhawan, Wridhhiman Saha, Manish Pandey, Carlos Brathwaite, Shakib Al Hasan, Yusuf Pathan, Rashid Khan, Deepak Hooda, Siddarth Kaul, Khaleel Ahmed.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

It is hard to find a team who is as consistent as CSK in the IPL. Playing in their seventh final and eyeing their third crown, CSK is surely the favorites to win. Chennai has won both their group matches against Hyderabad and even escaped with a narrow win in the first qualifiers against them.

The men in yellow have a strong batting line up capable of scoring and chasing 200+ scores. Shane Watson will be looking to score big after a dismal outing in the last match. The main scoring responsibility has been taken up by Ambati Rayudu who will surely look to finish his season strong. Dhoni has proved dependable as always with his knocks. The good form of Faf du Plessis will be a boost for a batting heavy CSK. The South African rescued his team from the brinks of defeat in the last match.

Bowling line-up

The bowling of CSK is headed by Shardul Thakur and Lungi Ngidi. The two have been in fine form and have taken vital wickets. Dwayne Bravo will also look to exercise his bowling abilities. The spin duo of Ravindra Jadeja and Harbhajan Singh will also try and restrict the batting of SRH. CSK bowlers will need to keep on par with their opponents in the final game.

Who Will Win IPL 2018?

Although the records favor CSK, one cannot count out SRH. This will be an enthralling finish to 2018 edition. CSK will triumph for their third title because:

– Chennai Super Kings has won all three matches against SRH this season.

– SRH’s middle order in batting line-up has been shaky. So, most of their bulk runs totally depends on two-man batting unit – captain Kane Williamson and Shikhar Dhawan.

– MSD’s years of experience will impact today’s match a lot and obviously, it’s another reason for CSK’s winning IPL final 2018.

[IPl 2018 Qualifier 2] SRH Vs KKR Match Prediction, Analysis, Playing 11, Betting Tips and more. Who Will Win today?

The exciting season of IPL 2018 is almost at an end. We are just one step away from the big finale. The second qualifiers will decide who will face off against Chennai Super Kings for the title. The two teams in the second round are none other than SRH and KKR at Eden Gardens on 25 May. While KKR continues their hot winning form, SRH’s poor showing in recent weeks has left them vulnerable. A last minute wins to enter the top four and a strong outing in the first qualifier against RR has put KKR in the prime position against a weakened SRH. Let’s check today’s match preview, playing 11, pre-match analysis and prediction which will tell you which team has more chances of winning this Qualifier 2 match.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

The consistent team of the tournament had to endure a terrible time towards the end of the IPL 11 season. SRH have faltered and are on four matches losing streak. The team which was very well piped to win the trophy this year have a tough opposition in front of them. A poor middle order collapse has seen SRH lose out on matches.

Betting Line-up

The lack of form of the batsman to support the shaky middle order has hurt Sunrisers Hyderabad. Dhawan will look to return to his best after failing to score even a single run against CSK in the last match. Captain Kane Williamson and the coaches need to shore the batting line up to score big and actually give the bowling a chance to defend.

The middle order, Manish Pandey, Shakib Al Hasan and Yusuf Pathan need to get their heads back in the game to boost the batting. These players will be extremely vital against KKR. Apart from a scoring Kane Williamson, who leads the orange cap with 685 runs, the other batsmen need to up their game to stop a rampaging KKR. The inclusion of Carlos Braithwaite in the last match helped SRH propel to a decent score, as the big man scored 43 off 29 balls.

sunrisers-hyderabad-match-prediction-ipl-2018-playoff-qualifier-2

Bowling

Undoubtedly the best bowling side of IPL 2018 has seen their lows in the recent matches. Although the line-up of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Siddharth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma and Rashid Khan has paid the dividends, the leaking of runs has been a negative point. Braithwaite was brilliant with the bat, leaked valuable runs in the last match which allowed CSK to gain control. Bhuvi, Kaul, and Sandeep will need to restrict a daring batting line-up of KKR. Rashid Khan will be key for the bowling and on a turning Eden pitch.

Key Players to Watch

The bowling as always will be the key to SRH’s victory. The batting will also have to perform well in the match. Kane Williamson and Rashid Khan will play vital roles.

Predicted Playing XI

Kane Williamson, Shikhar Dhawan, Sreevants Goswami, Manish Pandey, Carlos Braithwaite, Shakib Al Hasan, Yusuf Pathan, Rashid Khan, Trent Boult, Siddarth Kaul, Sandeep Sharma.

Kolkata Knight Riders

The Kolkata Knight Riders are in a red-hot form and are steamrolling anyone in their path. Although they still have a few chinks in their armor, the entire team is functioning cohesively. The opening pair of Sunil Narine and Chris Lynn will again be vital for KKR. Although Narine had a disappointing game against RR, the spinner turned batsman will be looking to put forth a strong opening against a disciplined SRH bowling. Captain Dinesh Karthik will be the one to look out for as he has been the consistent performer in the KKR side. The youngsters Nitish Rana and Shubman Gill will also need to do the needful to score valuable runs. Andre Russell will be looking to explore his big hitting side against SRH at KKR’s home stadium.

srh-vs-kkr-match-prediction-23-may-qualifier 2

Bowling

KKR put in an impressive bowling display to restrict RR in the last match. The bowlers of KKR, Andre Russell, youngster Prasidh Krishna, Kuldeep Yadav and Piyush Chawla will have to exploit a struggling SRH batting order to restrict them. Sunil Narine will need to focus on his bowling also to make full use of the home pitch.

Key Players to Watch Out

Dinesh Karthik will be crucial against SRH and the likes of Chawla and Kuldeep Yadav will prove important to the bowling.

Predicted Playing XI

Sunil Narine, Chris Lynn, Robin Uthappa, Dinesh Karthik, Nitish Rana, Andre Russell, Piyush Chawla, Shubman Gill, Kuldeep Yadav, Jason Searles, Prasidh Krishna.
